What does dreaming about prison & chains mean in the Bible?

In Scripture

Peter slept between soldiers the night an angel struck off his chains. Scripture is dense with prisons opening: God brings people out of darkness and breaks their chains, and the Messiah's mission statement includes freedom for the captives. A prison dream often names something that has held you — and the God who unlocks it.

“And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.”
